Macramè strong> is a MARGINe project for a private client to build a single-family residence in the urban area of Melendugno, a small hamlet located in the eastern part of the Salento peninsula.
Currently the project is under construction.
The aim of the intervention was to open the house to the outside spaces while retaining the intimacy of home life.
Dimension guaranteed by the south facing living area, projected in the exterior garden by continuous glazing with shaded jealousy that gives privacy to the interior spaces and becomes light lanterns in the evening. While the sleeping area is located on the first floor, by means of a staircase that recalls the old roofs of the cladding slabs in the roof.
